From 'The Eyes of a Child, My Child'

It's just one of those schoolnights when the little kid is so lazy to walk the extra mile. Basta tapos na homework, okay na. As an adult (who am I kidding?), I had to play my part:

When you grow up mas madali kang yayaman kung tapos ka ng school and pag matalino ka (I didn't want to mention about working or she'll get disillusioned. She knows I'm having a hard time working and making ends meet even if I do have work).

Lemon: Eh di ba Mommy, matalino ka? Eh bakit di ka pa rin mayaman?

Mum: (Dumbfounded) Uhm... Kasi malas ako eh.

Hay kids these days.
