Baguio Virgin No Moe!

Hell yeah! I'm no longer a Baguio virgin. And this divirginizing experience was a blast. Spending my first ever time in Baguio with my insane WWAI friends was one of the best experiences of my life.

I wonder where we're off to next. Tee-hee...

Thanks Detty, Abby and Gari for the pictures. I guess it's okay that I wasn't able to bring my camphone. =)

SUMMER CAPITAL, HERE I COME!!!

Be leavin' around midnight tonight. Funny thing is, I haven't been to Baguio. Yeap, I'm that low. Hehe... but that's about to change, right? And people say that I should kiss the Lion when I get there. Surest thing! Hahah!

So here's to me, as I lose my Baguio virginity!!! Cheers!!!

Overexposure

with Richie and Lara

Yeap, we're over exposed. From the flash, of course. Heehee... We took this "opportunity" to bond and release the vanity that's been gathering dust (yeah, sure). You wouldn't believe that there's actually an ongoing product training. Oh well, that's us. =)

WWAI sa Tagaytay Part II

My WWAI friends and I, plus Lemon, went back to Tagaytay/Caleruega for a relaxing Sunday. I had a great time, as usual, and I love my friends for being so nice to Lemon. =)

today

Today is a special day in its own special way. Heehee...Man, I love pleasant surprises!

Vacation's Over

After our glorious/stormy/adventurous long weekend, we headed back to working at the office. Haven't really moved on, we're still in the reliving-the-experience-thru-looking-at-the pictures phase. Here are some pics during those picture exchanges: c",)

Taking my Yin+Yang Tabo Along

I've joined this group that worships the tabo. So here am I staying true to my promise that I'll bring my tabo(s) anywhere and everywhere I go.

From Zambales to Pangasinan

Since our stay in Zambales was cut short, Mon, Lemon and I headed straight to Alaminos, Pangasinan to visit my Lola Sion. It was her 86th birthday on friday. It took us just an hour to reach Alaminos. =)

It was awfully windy that if only we are in a healthy state of mind, we would be heading home. Ah heck. Life is full of uncertainties. Ain't it fun that way?

It's been almost 3 years since I last came to my lola's house. It's bittersweet to relive the memories of my childhood summer vacations spent there. I'm glad I was able to share a morsel of my childhood with lemon. =)

tama na ang drama, heto na ang mga pityurs!

Beachin' Around

Our company held and outing last Friday, May 12, at a private resort in Candelaria, Zambales. Our 3-day, 2-night stay was cut short due to the strong winds that threatened to blow us away (hehe...). We left a day early but it was okay. For mon, lemon and I, the vacation was just halfway thru. But that deserves another post. =)

I'll blog about this later. Pics galore for now. [to be updated]

An awful big adventure

In a few hours I'll be wakin' up to a different Friday morning. The company's going on a 3-day-2-night out-of-town escapade. Adventure starts (hopefully) at 7 am when we leave the office and hit the road to Candelaria, Zambales. I'll be driving from QC to Olangapo City. I'm praying real hard that I don't get lost this time.

And I really hope the rain stops pouring while I sleep. Nakakainis kasi ang tagal kong hinintay ang ulan.

For now I should try my best to get some sleep. The amazing race/extra challenge will start soon. Goodnight for now.

Well I guess because it's in my blood

I guess it's the SaGuijo gig that made me reach into my not-so-distant past. Well actually I've always been the type who finds her self in other people's eyes. What I'm actually talking about here is being in a (rock) band, you know - performing in front of people, making noises and just losing all sensibility. You see, I had my taste of the rock and roll lifestyle. Though not for a long period of time, I've also experienced being up there, hoping that the crowd would not throw tomatoes on us. Unfortunately, or not, I had to give up living in limelight (as some would call it). My fantasy of becoming a "rockstar" graduated with me in college.

My dad was once a band member. His brotheres were once band members. Now they have their own families, making ends meet, choosing to live the less glamorous, but fairly predictable life. I guess I'm walking the very same path.

Am I having regrets? Maybe. But I believe that there's a reason why I'm here and not up there. Maybe from where I'm standing I can enjoy the best of both worlds, get a better view on things. Maybe I am really to enjoy other people's music.

I mean, I could've been the greatest, but then again I could've sucked big time. For now I'll be content here, humming with the music the world has offered me, whistling my way accross the universe.

Pocoyo

I love him! Everytime I see him on the TV, I get the giggles. Heehee...

Ain't he the cutest thing? I wonder if there are Pocoyo merch. I'd definitely buy - a lot!

Me and My Pisces Obsession

You guessed right. I was born under the sign of the two fishes. I've always found myself rather awestruck whenever I see works of art inspired by the Pisces, not really because it's my sign. I'm not after the astronomy nor fortune telling nor the mystic aspect of the Zodiac, by the way. Although I find it interesting to learn about the personality blahs, I only treat it as sort of entertainment, like mythology, a work of art probably. 'Nuff said.

Here are some materials I found on the net. I hope to find more good ones. Credits later (I committed the crime of not taking down notes).

Fine Fine Time with The Family

Went back to the Tagaytay Picnic Grove. This time I brought my family to have, well, a picnic by the Taal Lake. It was an awfully hot day, even for Tagaytay.

We scorched in the sun but it was all good. You didn't have summer if you didn't get a bit fried. And besides, I won't exchange this day for an airconditioned hotel suite. It's always nice to spend time with those you love.

=)

Videoke Challenge at Shawie's

My WWAI friend, Shawie, graduated from med school this month (April 2006). She invited us over to her place in Muntinlupa (loob, hekhek) to help her finish the cake. And mother of all things good, she rented a videoke machine! So from 10 pm til morning of the next day, we were singing our lungs out, and hopefully, none of the neighbors suffered permanently from it. Ah heck, we had fun!

The Challenge? Patagalang Bumagsak!

Sabi nga ni Fer, "Adik na ako!"

Lei, thanks for the dark chocolate-covered chewy blueberry what-do-you-call-it. Saraaap!

Bots, thanks for the ride home.

At shempre, SHAWIE!!! Congrats! Thanks for sharing this night with us. Sabihin mo lang pag inaway ka ng mga kapitbahay mo ha? Hehe...

Man, I love these guys!
