elysium with a twist

i almost dint make it. had this really bad thing going on at the office and i'm drained beyond exhaustion. i was so depressed, and for the first time since i joined the company i seriously thought of finding greener pastures.

if not for these two friends i incidentally saw at the fete, maybe i just locked myself up at home, flapping my wings and drawing things on the wall with my fingers. they really wanted to go to the elysium (for some reason i cannot reveal here). the ultimate babysitter - that's me. and it was fun.

all through the night i referred to these gurls as HUMAN SACRIFICES. ha-ha. arrived late, which was not like me. i'm always early on gigs. i'm usually drunk by the time the first band gets on stage. tonight must be something special.

and indeed it was.

DOTT was there, and as always, he was breathtaking. NII, the ever perky, was well, perky. hehe... she introduced me to RENT, who was rather nice and very cute. magkaibigan ba talga kayo? ;) saw a friend of a friend, the vocalist of AtomFLot, SOL. KNELL was friendly. i really enjoyed our talk. he's so down to earth.

and the major twist...

someone tapped me on my right shoulder. when i turned around i saw this really cute gurl.

OH MY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!!! SHAREEEEEE!!!!

there i lost it. sharee's the ate of my ex. she's so cute, which makes me wonder why her lil bro wasn't. LOLx... nah i was just kidding. she hasn't changed a bit. she's still this excited lil girl i knew. at parang mas bad girl na ko sa kanya ngayon. we couldn't help but talk about the not-so-distant past and laugh about it. twas really fun seeing people you haven't heard from in years.

and God i miss them. i miss mama cora, i miss shaje, i miss the house, and sige na nga...even the ex. wahahaha... but hello, knowing the person i've become...haha...NVM.

then it's bye bye time.

we stayed til 2 and drove like the insane wind. as usual, nakipagkarera na naman ako sa mga trucks and buses. ang saya. i was home in 20 minutes. goodluck waking up at 5 am to get the kid ready for school. goodluck lang talga.

and this i realized: as my corporate slavery becomes more and more depressing, my social life is thriving. =)
