Arianne's 'Sweet Sixteen' Parteeh

Our resident cheerleader/gymnast/baby pirate celebrated her **th birthday last night. Straight from my college friend's party in Makati and from my work shift as well, I was half dead when I arrived. Ron was nice enough to pick me up and give me a ride to Ianna's place in Balete Drive (yes, THE Balete Drive). I had little energy and voice left.

While the rest of the Happy Geeks were drinking the night away, I was trying my very best to stay awake. Two cups of coffee later (Ron suggested I spike it up with Bailey's), I was on my feet. I originally planned on staying away from alcohol for two weeks but these parties are the best reason to break your promise. So I did.

The first shot of tequila burned. I had to eat to counteract the upcoming tummy pain, which in turn made me wanna sleep more. So I had another shot of tequila that went down smoothly. Hehe.. I know, excuses. I stopped when I had my third shot or I'll pass out. Well I sorta did, for half an hour cummulative. I was dog tired.

On with the shameless singing and dancing that would scare the scariest of white ladies in Balete Drive. The resident bartenders - Jon, Mark and Snakehips - kept the booze running. Some of us played billiards, some had tarot reading sessions, and some did a bunch of wild wild things.

No, I'm not kissing anybody tonight. Even if I want to. Hehehe... And no, I still haven't kissed a girl.

And I didn't have to get drunk to humiliate my self in photos. Just you wait and see. But then again, I don't think I have the most embarassing photos that night. Hmmm..... Can't wait!

My iPod again took centerstage towards the end of the night with acoustic versions of the 90's alternative rock. I was sooo pleased to know that a handful of us were already thinking, processing organisms in the 90's (yeah I know, OLD). Name it, I have it. You want the album or acoustic version? Jovan, Shey, Alec, Ron, Monique seemed to have the most fun singing to the songs. Hmmm... must be the age. And of course, there's my brotha in music, Pirate Pattie. Patton and I did silly song interpretations. Dude, you rock (of course I rock more. hehe...)!!! They played billiards while I kept the noise and the taunts running.

It was also Patton's birthday so we had to give him The Lap Dance of Death, which he successfully evaded. Ianna wasn't so lucky. We piled up on top of her. By the time it was over, she couldn't feel her legs. It's a good thing you heal fast eh, Claire Bear?

Thanks for the great party, Ianna. I hope you liked the Pirate Pen (don't show it to Karen!). Again I hope you won't get in trouble by inviting us. And yeah, you have "friends" hovering about. I saw one. Heehee...

Zuri! My little brother (no Jovan, just because you're his "twin" doesn't mean you'e my little seester, foo!). My i-have-amnesia-when-I'm-drunk buddy. Thanks for the ride home. I really enjoyed our little chats. I hope to see you again soon.

Now Imma patiently wait for the pictures to be uploaded. Man here I go again. XD

Next stop, Alec's birthday/despedida party.

Crazy Weekend

Friday morning, (un)fresh from work, my teammates and I headed to the Seaside to spend the team fund (from the attendance challenge) on food and booze. We had the fourth of July off because we were good little callboys and girls for two weeks, not being late nor absent once (I am usually the first to get disqualified in such challenge). We attacked heaps upon heaps of sugpo, squid, oysters, mussels, tuna and maya-maya. Of course there's beer. And since we didn't have videoke, my trusty iPod took the stage, much to our QA's horror. Hehe..

Laine: May RnB ba jan?
Me: Asa ka pa!

Laughtrip abound, asaran, and the now-and-then usapang trabaho. They headed to MoA after the feast, while I headed home to start on the T-shirt project. Again a labor of love. Or not. Hehe...

Start on the shirt project my behind! I slept through the day, watched Fuel vids all night, and fell asleep again.

Come Saturday. With the help of Orange Panda (aka Larry Cayco) and Deiiah (Lemon's fairy godmother), I was able to finish the shirt design just in time. A cousin of mine pimped his friend for the shirt printing job. Astig. Everything's falling into place. Now I have to rush to Yale for the Ancient One's haba birdie parley.

Joel (the shirt printer): I need the print in Black lang.
Me: but my friend left already (Larry)! pwede bang bukas ng umaga na lang? kaya ba natin tapusin ang 25 shirts?
Joel: Oo naman. Sige bukas na lang.

And so I ran to Yale, after securing Pichi-pichi with cheese from a nearby store. I didn't bring a car because I was planning on getting drunk.

Three hours to party (see related blog). I drank too much too fast I fell asleep while the night was still young. And yeah, the kisses. And the condom. Wee.

7am, Sunday. I woke up to a brand new day. In Rej's room, surrounded by the happy geeks. Hey Meester Deejay, stop de spinning! I was having the nastiest hangover and I wasn't in the comfort of my own room (and toilet at that). Six episodes of throwing up later, I decided I should just bring a sick bag and lots of candy (thanks Rej!), before my mom sends out a search party.

And oh, the shirt.

Couldn't go to divisoria. Joel the printer is having doubts we could finish the shirt. I was ready to text my teammates, offering my butt for their disappointment. Joel changed his mind. He will not go to work the next day.

Slept Sunday night off to finally get rid of the hangover. Drove to the old house first thing Monday morning to get Lemon's baptismal pics (as homework), and check on the cats and de Dobbermann. Found out they don't have electricity. And that's since Typhoon Frank. Oh but I have so many problems of my own. Got the credit card bills (how can I possibly sink any lower?) and drove home.

Went shopping for shirts. No dark grays so I ended up with black. I'm gonna punch the living daylight out of anyone who'd complain.

Right now I'm waiting for the prints to dry. We're gonna wear shirts fresh from the market at work tonight. Hehehe...

Which reminds me, I need to catch some Zzzz's. I know it's gonna be a long night at work tonight.

The end.

Paul's Pambahay/Pantulog Party

I planned on getting drunk.

I arrived early, for a change, and started drinking. Grabbed a can of Red Horse, finished in it 10 minutes, grabbed a screwdriver, then another screwdriver, then a piƱacolada (?), then Jon's whats-its-name in a fancy champagne glass, then took Alec's tequila, then mixed myself vodka+sprite... then i lost track. Last thing I remember was Ron giving me glass of cold water, next thing I know it was morning already.

Three hours to party, six hours to pass out, 24 hours to nurse a mean hangover.

Beloved geeks, thanks for the fun fun night. I really needed to loosen up a bit. I've been living under a rock. I missed all of you so much, some more than the others. Heheh..

And I know I've kissed a lot of you that night. Please send me a correspondence if you have complaints about the quality of my kisses. Hehe... Did I kiss girls too?

Did i harass/molest anybody? Did you enjoy it?

I remember blowing up Karen's condom too, among other things. Captain, I heard you had to run off to secure your stash. Hehe..

I can't wait to see the pictures. I know I'm gonna regret some of them. It's one of those nights when you want to forget some nasty things that you did but your friends won't let you. :D

Paul! I hope you did better on nursing your hangover. Thanks for the fun party. Yale people, you rock! Luv you guys!
