Why can't we be like kids?

To love without analyzing.

To apologize without pride.

To forgive without thinking that it might just happen again.

To cry when we're hurt.

To laugh like we have no problems.

To ask for help when in trouble.

To trust the hand we're holding.

And to believe without asking for proofs.

  2. I have to agree. So I just make my own world up and there, I can be a kid again. Heck, I can be anything and anyone there. =)

  3. With adulthood comes great responsibility (ahaha) and expectations society has of us (and expectations we personally have for ourselves).

Sometimes it kinda sucks, but let's face it: it's better than being kids again the wrong or twisted way. >.>

And yea, I still read kids' literature (and like it better than most "grown up" lit), collect toys, and poke noses of teddy bears at the toys' section. I get away with it. Cause I can. XD
