Switchfoot Live in Manila




Greaaaaaaaaaaaaaat night!!! I should say that this concert moved me. I've realized that I'm bigger a fan than I thought I was.
head and dance like crazy.

I love Switchfoot! I love the messages that they send through their songs. I love the fact that 20% of the ticket sales will go to the International Justice Mission. And I love having to share this night with my friends.

Yancy, bro! Thanks so much for taking 90% of the concert pics. You rock!

Here's the playlist for all those who didn't make it, so that you'll know what you missed! (I'm so evil nyaarr...)

Oh! Gravity - Yancey and I were betting on which song they'd open the concert with. I thought it was Stars, Yancy thought Awakening. But Oh! Gravity is perfect!

Stars - love the video, love the song, love the energy when it was played in the concert. Everyone just pointed up to the stars.

Dare You to Move - emotional and relevant; it was the theme of the concert.

American Dream - the band froze for a couple of minutes in not-so-comfy positions. It was like watching Switchfoot wax statues on stage. Needless to say, the crowd went wild!

This is Your Life - my personal fave, my themesong.

Chem 6A - Jon:"for those who've been with us for quite a while"

More Than Fine - a rockin great song!

Gone

On Fire - Yancy's fave, a really inspiring song.

The Cowboy Song - terribly funny start

Awakening - the song currently receiving the most airplay these days (I hear it every two to three hours on Jam 88.3). LOVE IT! it's like a totally new Switchfoot playing, save for Jon's unmistakeable vocals.

Meant to Live - my 6-year-old's fave. Socially relevant, inspiring song.

Only Hope No, Switchfoot did not cover it. They made it!

We Are One Tonight - perfect way to end a fabulous evening.

    di yata kasama sa mailing list si Yancy. multiply friend namin sya ni Fer at Mike at Divino. so in short, honorary member yang si yancy. di nga sya kumanta ng JOC songs pero I'm sure quota yan sa Switchfoot during the concert. hehe.. next time kailangan na nya talagang kumanta!
