To My Dear Louis

I met him one lazy day when curiosity made me create a Friendster account for Anne Rice followers. He was the first to respond. He had the face and words of an angel. I loved him instantly.

That was five years ago. A dozen cold wars and an almost-two-year-dryspell later, we're still bound by love. He has a fragile heart, and I do my best not to break it. But sometimes I still do, and I regret each time I made him tear up inside.

Happy birthday, beloved. I'm forever grateful for your companionship. I'll always be here for you no matter what, even if the silence threatens to dissolve the bond once more.

Now rock on!!!
