They Rocked My World (inspired by Nii's post)




They created a dent in my so-called life, some are good, some are horrible.

If I can only get to keep them all... But people change, and I change. And sometimes letting go is the best way to keep the good memories alive.

If you're not here, I may not have a picture with you. I promise I'll update this every now and then. I only posted pics with 4 or less people in it, not including me.

Fine, I'll also place here pictures of those who graced my existence and changed my life in certain ways, but I'll be stealing from their sites. Hehe...coming right up!

    like what i said, nakakalungkot when you realize that some friendships do not last, kahit gaano mo pa gustuhin, kahit gaano mo pa kamahal yung tao. and that also goes for my other friends as well. mga bigla na lang nagbabago, nawawala, na parang wala man lang kaming pinagsamahan...

    yeah peeps, she's kindda my adopted brother/sister (take ur pic depending on the mood) without the proper paper work.. well, my biological bro and i wouldn't want to share our inheritance with her, that's why! (well we're hoping na meron, but it seems wala naman palang mana, nyl!)

    i got a funny n classic story for you peeps. nyl used to sleep at our place, dahil wala lang.. one time i had to go to school, so i just left her sleeping in my room. when i came home, she was gone. she left a post it on my mirror though. it goes: "Dei, i already went home. i took your silver bracelet(na may white daisies). Akin na to!" It took me a while to figure out what exactly she was talking about, coz i dont have a bracelet with white flowers on it. And then it dawned on me.. freakin nyl took my anklet and wore it on her wrist. HAHAHAHAHA! (langya, nasan na yung anklet na yun lababols? favorite ko yun eh!)

    yeah... we were quite addicted to each other's company. kaka-miss din.

    and let me share the story behind this meeting:

    Detty was the only contact I had with the group. It was a Friday evening and the local community of Jars of Clay fans were meeting for the first time. Tired from work, I thought I left my phone in my office table drawer. I didn't have any other means of communicating with Detty, who was catching a ride with me. It was too late to send an email to cry for help, everyone must be on their way already to the venue. But I had to give it a try, hence Detty would wait for me forever. And I didn't even know how she looked like then.

    Relying on pass-the-message technology, I sent an email to the group. Please let there be ONE soul checking his/her mail this very moment, one who'd be able to tell Detty that I'm coming, no matter what.

    When I arrived at where Detty used to work, the guard let me know that this "tiny" woman is waiting inside.

    Fortunately, one member was checking her mail that moment. She didn't have Detty's number so she texted another member. This other member texted Detty. Detty knew I was coming. And that night was the start of a rather life-turning friendship with the rest of the community. =)
